Plastic Free July® is a vital initiative of the Plastic Free Foundation. It allows them to work towards their vision of seeing a world free of plastic waste. From humble beginnings in 2011, the award-winning Plastic Free July campaign is the result of years of hard work.
It is a global movement that helps millions of people be part of the solution to plastic pollution – the aim is to have cleaner streets, oceans, and beautiful communities. You can sign up and take part by refusing to use single-use plastics.
Everyone can participate, including individuals, workplaces, businesses, local government, schools and communities. There are loads of great ideas and tips on their website, so have a look here.
Once you’ve got through July, keep going and building on what you’ve already achieved.
